I totally forgot that today is the Korba festival day, so naturally I didn't find a place to park; I parked about a block away, but I don't mind the weather is really nice. I wished I could be at the festival, but I have to meet some of my colleagues to work on a presentation due on Sunday.
I enter the cafe and ask for a place in the smoking section, because of my colleagues who smoke like a chimney. They're late as usual and somehow I am grateful, I don't feel like working really and the assignment is pretty mundane.
The young group next to me are talking in a hybrid; Arabic, Spanish and English; I praise their parents and laugh at the strange sounds, a bit jealous really. Anyhow, they look like sophomores; the boys have started to lose their boyish looks, urging themselves into manhood, while the girls realize their oozing womanhood; which is apparent in their looks, laughs and the way they address the boys. It's all a dance, tango if you will. One of the boys is obviously the pack leader and he's pretty impressive, a girl, the alpha female, has some leverage on him and he tries to fight it an fails miserably. Ahh, the human behavior, quite fascinating.
