I don't get it

I know that people are different and that a lot of them want different stuff, I acknowledge that and I really want them to reach whatever they aspire to, because I am not a vindictive person.
Anyhow, I don't get why sometimes good people don't get what they want, I mean I see those great persons who can't seem to make way through life and it really annoys me.
Good people deserve good things even if they don't make any sense to me. The point is I am sick of seeing them suffer through this life and I just want it to stop.
