I'm not sure

The fact is I'm never sure of anything, but the whole point of this post is that I'm not sure of the whole working 9-5 thing. I shall complete a month of working 9-5 by Thursday. Very Exciting, right? NO
I hate my job. I know hate is a strong word, but I don't care about it and it bores me to death. The last couple of weeks I was convinced that I had an illness or something, but it turned out the symptoms present themselves while I'm at work only.

So,I figured it out, I've been lying to myself saying that this is a nice job and bla bla bla. People say that I should stick it out, but I will not. I stuck out school and college, so I think working should be a bit more interesting. For most people that I know, the opposite is true ( they liked school and college and hate working).

I refuse to settle and until I find the perfect job and I mean PERFECT, I will not surrender to people's wills. You may say I'm spoiled rotten and crazy, but I'm just sick of second bests. I want my job to be interesting, I want to wake up every morning and be excited about the fact that I'm going to work. That's it.

I think I've earned it and I won't back down.

Hello
Xero might have a point here, but I agree never compromise as our lives is formed of few little dreams if we kept letting go one at a time we might end up having a good life but it will be nothing like what we signed up for.

Follow your heart :)

Hold your horsies there John Lennon! Everything is a compromise, to a certain extent, there's no such thing as a "best job". Cesario, if you're working for a living then you have a serious problem. What ever happened to "live for a living", why are you associating dreams with your job? A job is something you do to use your head, keep learning, manage time, utilize effort in something useful and make money for doing all that, but it is no different than brushing your teeth! Something useful, you do to preserve something about yourself, no more no less. You are all the things you select to do alongside that job, the books, the activities, the meditation, the movies, whatever it is you do (or at least that's how I look at it).

Yet, there are people who love their jobs with all of their imperfections. The point is I want to find my perfect job, because it's important for me. I'm one of those people who wants to actually be interested in the field they're working in.
And no, I don't have a serious problem, I have a series of problems.
:)
I do have to admit that I like your perspective ya dee.
