Paradise
I know I tweeted it, told everyone I've met in the last 48 hours about it, and have it blasting out on constant repeat, but I do not think that it is enough.
I am in love with this song. My soul is in love with this song. Something inside me clicks whenever I hear this song. The fact of the matter is Coldplay has managed to get every single emotion and idea inside my head and turn it into a song, and I always believed that it was a major coincidence, and that somehow at one time, they are going to break this great fluke.
However, they have proved me wrong one more time.
I love the melody. I love the energy, and most of all, I love the lyrics. This is what I do when the world lets me down. I am guessing a lot of people do that as well, but I will choose to ignore that, and just say that this song is for me, and me alone.
Please read the lyrics, and listen to the song. It is THAT good (my whole family agrees for the first time on one song, so you be the judge).
When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach so
She ran away in her sleep
And dreamed of
Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise, Para-para-paradise
Every time she closed her eyes
When she was just a girl
She expected the world
But it flew away from her reach
And the bullets catch in her teeth
Life goes on, it gets so heavy
The wheel breaks the butterfly
Every tear a waterfall
In the night the stormy night she'll close her eyes
In the night the stormy night away she'd fly

And dreams of
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh
She'd dream of
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh-oh
La-la-la-la-la-la-la
La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la
And so lying underneath those stormy skies
She'd say, "oh, ohohohoh I know the sun must set to rise"
This could be
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
This could be
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh
This could be
Para-para-paradise
Para-para-paradise
This could be
Para-para-paradise
Oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh-oh-oh
