Bad world
During the past few months, the world has moved from bad to worse. It is not because of change, but because of the reality that has shown through after the veil of deception fell.
Corruption is everywhere, leaving us alone with no one to truly trust except ourselves; the people are alone in a battle against a masked enemy that keeps shedding mask after another, but never dying. We tell ourselves that we will win, but deep inside each one of us there is a hint of doubt, and as time passes by (without change or progress), the hint dominates, and multiplies within each one of us.
These are hard times, and we are all suffering, some more than others, but we are all wondering whether there is a future, and whether we will be able to make it to the other side, wherever that is.
If there is one request, do remember that we are all in the same boat, and try not to take it out on the people next to you, because they are at the end of their tether as well. If you can't smile, at least do not frown. In times like these, we need to escape even if it is a brief escape through shared laughter that quickly dies in a sea of darkness.
