Excerpt from "The plague" by Albert Camus

This book is certainly a masterpiece, but it's soul-wrenching. I recommend it if you want to have a deeper realization of how futile life is, but at the same time how we still long for it despite its futility. It confirms contemplations I have had in the past; it talks of happiness, love, death and the sense of exile.
