When you know where you're going, if you don't get there, then you will experience great loss. However, if you don't know where you're going, landing anywhere might be good enough.
there is a difference between the "uncertain" road and the "unknown" road, with uncertainty you're lost, not sure, and not secure. it's the worst feeling ever, great chance you might get messed up during the process, that you wont be able to survive it.
with certainty, you're secure enough and having some peace of mind, and that would severely help in getting you to the other side, and if not, you'd be at least sure you did your best.
so trust me, uncertainty is living hell, I don't think any feeling can be worse.
Believe me, I know. However, I am commitment-phobic, so I kinda prefer the uncertain, although I know first hand the annoyance of not knowing what you want or where you're going.
I guess they're two different things. However, setting standards for yourself and goals is scary cause you run the risk of not being good enough, or failing.
Also, I believe that if one can bear with the not knowing part and the uncertainty, you might reach a better place than constricting yourself to what's safe.
ok, so you meant that phobia, I know what you mean, the enjoyment of denial, that you're better off alone and whatever, until it become your comfort zone!
I've been there, and trust me, the longer you walk this road the harder you'll get over that stupid fear.
so what if you failed? however I wouldnt like to name it "failure", rather a well earned experience, an opportunity to blow your wrong chances, not to mention the chance of success, that you totally forgot about while setting there in your glassy house, staring at the scary world outside. setting there in fact wont protect you, it's messing with your head everyday.
Trust me, I've been there and I needed to hear those encouraging words, and seriously, now that am out discovering the outer world, I think it's not that bad, I guess I overestimated the phobia.
ana 2olt kol da? :D excuse you, hitting my sorest nerve!
